🔐 Changing a Student’s Password

In some cases, you may want to simplify or adjust a student's password — for example, to remove capital letters, avoid confusing characters, or make it easier for younger learners to remember.

Spellings for Me allows you to update a student's password quickly from your Teacher Dashboard.

✅ How to Change a Student's Password

Log into your Teacher Dashboard at app.spellingsforme.com

Locate the student whose password you want to update

Click the Actions button beside their name

Hover over Administration, then click Edit User Profile

Scroll to the bottom of the profile screen

Enter the new password in both password fields (it must be exactly 6 characters)

Example: abc123

Click Save

The student’s password is now updated, and they can log in using the new one.

⚠️ Tip: Use simple combinations like word12 to help students who may struggle with more complex passwords.
