What to Do If You Can’t Add a New Student to Your Dashboard

Adding a New Student to Your Teacher Dashboard

If you need to add a new student mid-year to your teacher dashboard, here’s what to do:

  1. Check Your Account Capacity
    Each school has a set number of student accounts based on their subscription. For example, if your school has purchased 400 student accounts, you can add up to 400 students. However, if you attempt to add a 401st student, the system will not allow it.
  2. If Your Account is Full
    If your account has reached its capacity, you have two options:
    • Option 1: Remove a Student Who Has Left
      • Check if there are students who have left your class or school. You can delete their account to free up space.
      • Speak to your school administrator if you need to delete a student from another class within the school.
    • Option 2: Purchase Additional Licenses
      • Visit our website at www.spellingsforme.com.
      • Click the Sign Up Now button to purchase additional licenses for your school.
      • Each additional student license is charged at the standard rate per child, with no extra fees for adding one student at a time.
      • Once the license is purchased, it will be assigned to your school within 24 hours, allowing you to add the student.
